Novus Laurus Books publishes picture books for Kindergarteners … and adults … about social and emotional learning. Each book features a rare or beautiful animal along with a single SEL principle like empathy, perspective taking, leadership, sharing etc. The animal characters are named according to the region of the globe they live in and deliver the SEL lesson couched in a story that applies to the particular animal.
